The Medi-sink® is a ready to go, free standing hand washing station designed as an easy addition to any Cosmetic or Health Services practice area. It is designed to both meet hand washing regulations, and serve as a practical hand washing facility without the need for plumbing.
The unit is entirely self contained, hygienically holding 10 litres of fresh and 10 litres of waste water in tanks within so no plumbing is required. Constructed from a laminated MDF body and a durable ceramic basin to allow easy and effective cleaning, the Medi-sink® essentially looks like a normal sink and is designed for long term fixed use. Internally however it is a fully operational self-contained hand washing station which delivers a timed,10 second, hot water rinse (40-45°C) - capable of 50 hand washes per filling of the 10 litre water container. The unit is sensor operated (hands free), though it also features a push button inside the unit to provide cold water flow if needed. *Now Available* The Medi-sink® ProWash has a specially programmed wash cycle for enhanced infection prevention - an extra rinse at the beginning of the wash cycle ensures hands are wet and soaped to their fullest, and does not allow for rinsing until such time as proper technique can be adequately performed.

The routine is simple, quick and very effective; ensuring proper hand wash technique is applied:
- Place hands in the bowl to trigger the sensor.
- The Medi-sink® ProWash will then deliver a pre-lather water spray for 2 to 3 seconds with which to wet your hands.
- The sensor will continue flashing for the 15-20 seconds 'soaping time' whilst you apply and lather the liquid soap.
- Following this, the 10 second warm water rinse will begin, allowing for thorough soap and pathogen removal.
- Removing hands from the bowl allows the sensor to reset, ready for another wash.
Total time wash time, approximately 35 seconds!
**Medi-sink® ProWash provides up to 40 wash cycles per filling.
