Transplumb Water Technologies - About Us
10 Sept 2015
Who are we? We’re a tech focussed manufacturing company specialising in permanent and portable, self-contained sinks and hand wash stations.
With 20 years in the industry and world class goods and services, our plumbing alternatives are a great solution to mains plumbing.
Why self-contained? Often plumbing can be very costly, impractical or simply not possible. Whether you’re operating in a heritage listed building, market stall, kiosk, leased office space or a home based business, we are usually more cost effective and more convenient than installing plumbing.
Our products have been designed with versatility in mind. We ship quickly and at low cost to all of Australia and New Zealand. We offer various customisations on our products and also have the ability to do full custom units to your specification. All of our off the shelf units are designed to also have the option of mains plumbing connections should a site become long term or plumbing becomes available at a later date. You might even have plumbing available and it works out to be less expensive to order one of our units which has everything built in your just need to connect it up!
Our units are easy to operate and build to last. They are designed to be both practical and ensure you can meet industry compliance requirements. We offer turnkey, hassle free solutions so that you can get back to running your business or just enjoying the weekend.
How do they work? No two products are the same, however the basic premise of our self-contained units is that they are standalone, fully self-contained, hot/cold water capable sinks and basins. This means that they require no connection to mains plumbing to operate, and are designed to be either portable or permanently fixed.
Our technology works by drawing water from sealed, refillable fresh water containers via a pump. The water is either delivered cold or heated to 40 degrees for hand washing or 70+ degrees for utensil washing. The waste water is then expelled into a separate waste water container that can be easily emptied and cleaned. Our units have quick, effective, self-cleaning systems to ensure potable water is maintained.
